This explains what Sora Technologies LLC, doing business as Sora Websites, collects and what we do with it.

What we collect

Public business information. Your name, practice, specialty, address and phone number from public sources such as the federal NPI registry and Google Maps. We use it to find practices that may want a website and to make your first look, video and postcard.
What you give us. Your practice name, city, email and mobile number when you claim a website, your answers to our questions, and whatever you send us for your site.
How you use our pages. Scans of your postcard code, page visits, how far you scroll, video plays and the steps you take to claim or approve. Along with that we record your device type, browser, language, the page that sent you, and your rough location based on your connection. We don't store your IP address, only a scrambled version that changes daily, used to count visitors.
Payments. Stripe collects your payment details, including through Apple Pay and Google Pay. We never see or store your full card number. We keep your Stripe customer and subscription references, your email and whether your subscription is active.

Cookies

We use two small cookies, kept for up to a year. One recognizes a returning visitor and one remembers which postcard code you scanned, so we can tell how our mail is doing. We don't use them for advertising. Stripe uses its own cookies when you pay, to process payments and prevent fraud.

How we use it

To build, host and update your website, and to contact you about it.
To take payments and manage your subscription.
To see how our postcards and pages are working, and to improve them.
To prevent fraud and meet legal requirements.

Texts and calls

We'll text you about your website if you ask us to or give us your mobile number for that purpose. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, and tell us if you don't want calls and we'll take you off our list.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We share it only with companies that help us run the service, and only for that work: hosting and database providers, Stripe for payments, our postcard printing and mailing service, our phone, text and alert tools, and the AI and data services that help us research practices and write pages and videos. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights.

Patient information

Our service isn't designed to handle patient health information. Please don't send it to us.

Keeping and deleting it

We keep your information as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires, such as tax records. To see, correct or delete what we have about you, or to be removed from our outreach, contact us using the details below. Your state may give you further rights, and we'll honor those too.

Children

Our service is for businesses and isn't aimed at children.
